Auvergne – Demographic description

Citizens for the Auvergne Region WWViews on Climate and Energy were recruited from all the 4 “departements” (subdivision of the Region). The citizens who participated in the consultation were as a group very close to the population of the Region in terms of gender – 54% of the panel was feminine – age and place of living.

Despite the quite good representation of the diversity of occupations, no farmer was able to attend the debate – June is a harvest month so that farmers were very busy at that time.

As suggested by the selection methodology, no active member of an environmental organization participated in the debate.
