June 5: UN Assembly, New York

On the occasion of World Wide Views on Climate and Energy and the World Environment Day, the Permanent Mission of France to the United Nations organized a consultation at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on June 5th 2015 in partnership with the French Heritage Language Program (a program supported by the French Embassy to the United States), the Permanent Mission of Morocco, the Executive Office of the UN Secretary General, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the International Organization of la Francophonie (OIF), ATD-Fourth World and the World Council of Peoples for the United Nations (WCPUN).
Nearly 100 French-speaking students enrolled in New York City public schools (aged 14-19 and mostly originating from Western Africa and the Caribbean), took part in the debate and expressed recommendations as part of the Road to Paris.
