Île-de-France (France) – Demographic description

The citizens who participated in World Wide Views on Climate and Energy in Île-de-France (France) were very close to the proportions of the general population of Île-de-France in gender, age, familial situation, and urban-rural – departmental, type of residence (apartment /house), link with the residence (tenant/ social tenant/ owner), place of residence. The greatest discrepancy was in level of education. There were a lot of participants with high education, while those with graduate and professional degrees were 67% instead of 37%. Only 5% of the participants declared to have a lower level education, under the bachelor.
